Mr. Witty practices in the area of civil litigation and employment law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College and his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Hamline University School of Law. During law school, he served as an Associate and Production Editor for the Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Witty served as a law clerk for the Honorable Heather L. Sweetland, Sixth Judicial District.

Mr. Witty is licensed to practice in the States of Minnesota and Wisconsin, and in the U.S. District Court for Minnesota.  He is a member of the local, state, and national bar associations, the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute.

Mr. witty is a 2010 Leadership Duluth graduate and serves on the Board of Directors of Men as Peacemakers, a local non-profit organization.  Mr. Witty has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law and Politics magazine, an honor given to 2.5% of the attorneys under 40 years old in Minnesota.
