Mr. Kimber practices in the area of general litigation including insurance defense, commercial litigation, workers' compensation, construction and appellate practice.

He received his bachelor's degree from Colgate University and his law degree from Washington University School of Law, where he served as associate editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly. During his academic career, Mr. Kimber received a CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution and worked as a legal intern with Senator Peter Fitzgerald in Washington, D.C. in Washington University's Congressional & Administrative Law Clinic.

Mr. Kimber is admitted to practice in the States of Minnesota and Wisconsin, and in the Federal District Courts in Minnesota and the Western District of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association. He is a member of the American Bar Association Advisory Panel and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Little Treasures, Inc., the Volunteer Attorney Program and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers' Association.  He is past chair of the New Lawyers' Division of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Depot Foundation and regularly authors articles and speaks on litigation issues.

Mr. Kimber has been recognized multiple times as a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law and Politics magazine, an honor given to 2.5% of the attorneys under 40 years old in Minnesota, and is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society.
