Gilbert W. Harries
Mr. Harries concentrates his practice in estate planning, probate, trust administration and real estate which includes mining leases and mineral titles. He also is well-respected for his environmental law practice.
Mr. Harries was educated at Stanford University and the University of Minnesota from which he received his LL.B. degree, and was a member of the Minnesota Law Review. He was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in 1955, and the State Bar of Wisconsin in 1984. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. He has served as President of the 11th District Bar Association (1986-87) and is a past member of the Minnesota State Bar Association Board of Governors.
Mr. Harries is active in the community, having served as Chairman of the Trustees of the United Way of Greater Duluth Trust, as President of the Duluth Public Library Foundation, as President of the United Way, as Chairman of the Duluth Public Library Board, and as President of the City of Duluth Planning Commission.
