Ms. Baker practices in the areas of real estate, estate planning, probate and immigration law. The focus of her practice is on counseling individuals and families with respect to the purchase and sale of real estate, correcting land title problems, planning for end of life issues including preparation of wills and trusts, planning for assisted living or nursing home care, and providing legal assistance after the death of a loved one. The focus of her practice also includes advising individuals, families and businesses with respect to family and employment based immigration.
Ms. Baker received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Duluth and her law degree cum laude from Hamline University School of Law. While in law school, she clerked for the Honorable Shaun R. Floerke, Judge of District Court, Sixth Judicial District.
Ms. Baker is licensed to practice law in both state and federal courts in Minnesota. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the 11th District Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Duluth and formerly served on the Board of Directors of Equine Allies, Inc.
