Robin C. Merritt

Mr. Merritt engages in general practice of law with an emphasis on civil litigation, including motor vehicle collisions, construction disputes, and professional negligence claims. Special areas of interest include special investigation matters (SIU), real estate and insurance agent errors & omissions and product liability.

Mr. Merritt graduated cum laude from Carleton College in 1985, and received his J.D. degree cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 1988. He then served as judicial clerk to the District Court judges handling all of Minnesota's asbestos-related claims before joining the firm in 1990. Mr. Merritt is admitted to practice law in Minnesota, Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court for Minnesota, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of local, state and national Bar Associations, American Bar Associations, the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
