Jacob J. Baker

Mr. Baker practices in all areas of estate planning, long-term care planning, probate, trust administration and family law. He counsels clients with respect to asset management, orderly asset transfers, wealth preservation, tax planning and related matters. Mr. Baker received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minnesota in 1997 and his Juris Doctor degree in 2000 from the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Baker was admitted to the Bar that same year. He is licensed to practice law in both State and Federal courts in Minnesota.

Mr. Baker is a 2003 Leadership Duluth graduate. He is an officer and serves on the Board of Directors of the Duluth Art Institute and is a member of the Arrowhead Estate Planning Council. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the REACH program in Carlton County, which provides recreational opportunities for children. He has also volunteered his time with the United Way. Mr. Baker was named a 2006 Rising Star by Minnesota Law & Politics.
